Constantly updating media library
For the past few weeks, I am having trouble with the Windows Media Player installed on my PC recently.
It is updating the media library constantly without any prompt.
Every once in a while I'll get a Growl message saying "library scan complete", then a few minutes later it'll just start right back up again.

One thing you could try to speed up scanning is to remove Music section from automatic updates in the PMS preferences.I do have a large number of items in my main Photos library (85,000 ), but I don’t understand why the library is constantly updating.Do you have a program that is running in the background and is writing to the directories that are being watched? Some people who ran bit torrent clients have had this problem.
