Outlook calendar entries not updating best questions to ask during speed dating
Hello, I followed all the directions correctly, but my calendly shows some of my busy times as available when someone tried to schedule a meeting with me.
I looked in settings, and it looks like it never has synced with my calendar?
If you are making use of shared calendars in Outlook 2016 you may find that not all appointments are showing in the calendar or are disappearing.
Typically this happens when running Outlook 2016 in cached mode with exchange or Office 365.
If you are not sure that you are using hosted exchange please do not follow these steps as incorrectly deleting the Outlook data file may delete your Outlook email permanently.
There are known issues that cause some email clients, especially older clients and those on some mobile devices, to provide inconsistent and unreliable updating of calendar information via Exchange Active Sync.
Accessing your calendar to view upcoming events is a crucial part of managing your time effectively.
Your exchange calendar will be updated, and a progress bar indicates the status after "Send/Receive" in the Outlook status bar.
Click the "Show As" drop-down menu in the Options group of the Appointment ribbon, and then select how your time will be marked on your calendar.
This setting indicates to others viewing your calendar when you are free or busy for new meeting requests.
For example, click the radio button next to "Monthly," enter "1" into the field next to "Day" and then enter "2" into the field next to "Of Every" to configure a bi-monthly recurring appointment. Click the "Invite Attendees" button in the Attendees group of the Appointment ribbon to change the appointment to a meeting.
Enter the email addresses for any attendees you wish to receive the meeting request.
