Vmware ntp not updating

Understanding how the underlying technology of how NTP works is actually quite interesting but beyond what this post is about.

eth2 is the interface with an IP on the office NAT, providing internet access.

Click OK three times to save and apply your changes.

Ideally, though, you want to be setting your time with NTP. Click Add to add the name or address of the NTP server you'd like to use.
